Dr. Zsolt Peter Ori is a primary care physician with training and research experience in biomedical engineering and computing. Ilona Ori, co-founder and project manager, has built her considerable legal and business experiences around the goals of Ori Diagnostics.
Together, this father-daughter team are working to provide the newest technology-assisted method of monitoring and improving your health through tracking individual metabolic data. For many people, it’s a constant struggle to get meaningful information that can help them make optimal fitness and dietary decisions for themselves. The imprecise nature of our current methods for tracking and predicting daily utilized macronutrient energy intake, daily macronutrient oxidation rate, and daily changes of body composition, make it incredibly difficult to know the best way to manage our individual health. Up until now, there hasn’t been a non-invasive way of getting accurate results. Ori Diagnostics plans to change that.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Ori witnessed the devastating effect of diabetes and obesity and knew that there had to be a better way for people to make more well-informed health decisions. Realizing that monitoring the parameters of metabolism can serve as a holistic indicator of health, Dr. Ori undertook the planning and development of a physiological health and trauma monitoring system, harnessing the most recent technological advances. Within those emerging technologies, he saw a way for individuals to monitor their own health.
